Meet Captain Dave Hoke

Capt. Dave Hoke has been fishing our local waters for over 20 years and has built a reputation as one of the top guides in Southwest Florida. His number of repeat customers dictates that. Capt. He also catches other species including trout, goliath grouper, sharks, sheepshead, snapper, flounder and many other types of saltwater fish. Capt. Dave Hoke runs three boats. He runs a 22 foot Shearwater tower boat for tarpon and flats fishing, a fully restored in 2014 22'2 Aquasport w/ 175 Suzuki for Tarpon, and a 21' Intruder Cat boat powered by a Yamaha 150 4 Stroke.

Our Tournament Accomplishments

Please note that from 2009-2011 Capt. Dave Hoke has put tournament fishing on hold due to his booming charter business. However, Capt. Dave is available for hire for fishing tournaments.

Meet Captain Bill Hoke

Capt. Bill Hoke has been fishing our local waters for over 35 years! He is no stranger to big fish, and has recorded big catches of snook to up to 36 pounds! Capt. Bill Hoke also runs a 22 foot Shearwater tower boat that will get you to where the fish are as fast as you please, and dry! Capt. Bill has a proven track record on our local waters and has traced his roots all around our backcountry waters. Capt. Bill works well with kids, but also is equipped for the serious angler who is looking for record and memorable catches. Capt. Bill is also active on the tournament scene and is teamed up with Capt. Dave and his oldest son Jon in the Maverick Flatsmasters Tournament Series. Both Capt. Bill, and Capt. Dave are in a long family tree that has been guiding, and fishing for many generations.

"Dave, I just wanted to take this time to send you a note thanking you for such an awesome experience. I have fished with guides all over the world and I have never seen anyone take control on the water like you do. Your passion for your job and wealth of knowledge is truly amazing and I can't wait for many trips in the future. "

"Captain Dave,
Thank you helping me land the biggest snook of my life. I will be making a replica soon, I will send you pics! Thanks so much."

Dan C

"Captain Dave.Total was 20-25 snook (we lost count) with almost all over 30", largest was the one below, 42". Plus 7 reds from 29"-33" and a nice 22" gag kicker. It is hard to keep two kids focused on fishing for 4 hours but its much easier when your baits are getting hammered on almost every cast. We have a ton more photos on the camera but need to upload them. I will post one or two that are on my phone. Thanks again Captain Dave.

Jon D.

Thanks for an unbelievable trip! 87" Tarpon! I look forward to the next one!."

"Hi Captain Dave,

Hope all is well. I hope you can remember us I was the older guy the handled off the fishing rod in your words like you had never seen so fast. My youngest son I'm hoping is coming down in the next month or 2 and I will see if you have any open time, We had a true blast fishing with you! "

Capt. Dave,
Jackson and Dodd can't stop talking about that giant Bull Shark they caught. I am sure we will be giving you another call if we make it back for spring break. Either way, I will refer you to anyone I know that is visiting the area. ."
